Church Treasurers of Canada Inc.

As a member of Church Treasurers of Canada Inc., the church or Christian charity and the treasurer will ensure that the organization:

	1.	Maintains a proper financial accounting system and produces annual operating statements and balance sheets.
	2.	Complies with federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.
	3.	Maintains honest and open communications when dealing with individual donors, members and the general public.
	4.	Guards the confidential personal information of all donors and members.
	5.	Avoids situations where the treasurer is placed in a conflict of interest.
